Human vs Nature

I think  us humans depend on nature more than we actually think. Without us humans here I think nature would be more treasured and wouldn't be like it is now. We don't really value what nature has given us and what it continues to give us when we should.

A Challenge I Overcame

A challenge I over came this weekend was that I spent a whole day with my sister down at riverside. I really don't like going down with my sister because I'm so used to being home its hard to get me out of there. this weekend she had asked me to go over and I finally said yes because I felt bad saying no for like the 4th time already.going over wasn't so bad I actually really enjoyed my time with her and staying with her that I might go down again this weekend coming up. Through this I learned that coming out of your normal habitat can be something else then what you really imagine and experience something different can bring you good and happiness rather then bad and sadness.

Post #2: What I like about Blogging

I think I can use this blog in class and outside of class. I've already had experience in having a blog for another class last year and I think its fun and its a way to express yourself in many different ways. The assignments Mr. Brown assigns are fun so I think that doing those activities in a blog should be interesting and enjoyable.

Post #1: A little about me

My name is Carolyn Aguilar and I'm in 10th grade attending Mira Costa High School. I have a pretty big family. In total its 9 of us that are children of my dad. My favorite class would have to be English this year not only because it's fun but also because I've learned many different things about my personality in this class that I didn't know before. Right now I don't play a sport but I used to play soccer. Soccer would be my favorite sport, its the only sport I've played for many years and I also enjoy it.  I don't really read books on my own time but from the books I've read the book that I really liked so far is the book "The Jasmine Trade" by Denis Hamilton. I really like this book because it has mystery in it and it kept me eager to keep reading it after every chapter. To be honest at first I didn't like the fact that I was attending Mira Costa but then I realized that Costa is a good school and i should treasure that I'm attending there because many other people would like to be in my position to be going to Mira Costa.
